Are you a motivational leader with a passion for driving performance and developing people?
Our client, a market-leading manufacturing business, is seeking a Production Team Manager to take full ownership of a high-performing team on the production floor. You'll be responsible for leading, developing, and managing a team of up to 25 staff, ensuring daily and weekly production targets are consistently met - while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance.
What you'll be doing:
Lead & Develop a team of Supervisors, Machine Controllers, Operators, Production QAs, and PSOs to deliver against production targets.
Train & Coach team members to ensure they're competent and confident in their roles.
Drive Performance by executing shift plans, managing resources, and resolving issues proactively.
Champion Quality & Compliance through regular audits, non-conformance investigations, and promoting food safety best practices.
Motivate & Engage with your team daily - setting clear expectations around behaviour, attendance, and standards.
Recruit & Retain - working with HR to maintain staffing levels and reduce turnover.
Promote a Continuous Improvement culture, actively involving your team in change initiatives and supporting site-wide improvement goals.
What success looks like:
Clear, consistent team communication and engagement.
High compliance standards and minimal non-conformances.
Team members have 2 documented performance reviews per year.
Training fully up to date.
Staff turnover below 15% quarterly.
