Team Manager – Food Manufacturing
Salary: £29,000 – £33,000 (depending on experience)
Shifts: Monday to Friday, 2pm–10pm or 10pm–6am
Contract: Permanent

The Role
As a Team Manager, you’ll lead and develop a team within the Production or Packaging department, ensuring operations run safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. Working closely with the Shift Manager, you’ll champion continuous improvement, drive performance, and create a positive, engaged working culture.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and support your team to deliver KPIs across safety, quality, performance, and cost.
Maintain compliance with all HSE, food safety, and quality standards — ensuring the area is always audit-ready.
Effectively manage waste, raw materials, and packaging usage to control costs.
Drive continuous improvement through engagement, idea sharing, and data-driven problem solving.
Promote teamwork, accountability, and high standards of hygiene and GMP across your area.
About You
You’ll be an experienced Team Leader or Supervisor within food manufacturing or FMCG, ready to take the next step into a management role. You’ll also bring:
Strong leadership and communication skills.
A hands-on approach with a focus on coaching and development.
Solid understanding of food safety and quality systems.
Confidence using systems such as SAP or MIMO (advantageous).
A proactive mindset with a passion for improvement.
