Salary: £26,000 – £30,000 per annum
About the Role: We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing company who are seeking a skilled and motivated Production Technician to join their growing operations team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on professional with a background in technical production, engineering or process operations to play a key role in ensuring high-quality output in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate, monitor and maintain production machinery and equipment
Carry out routine maintenance and assist with fault-finding and repairs
Follow detailed technical instructions, SOPs and safety protocols
Perform quality control checks and ensure compliance with product specifications
Work closely with engineering and quality teams to support continuous improvement
Record and report production data accurately
Support new product introductions and equipment commissioning when required
Requirements:
Previous experience in a production, manufacturing or engineering environment
Technical qualification (e.g. NVQ, BTEC, ONC or equivalent in Engineering, Manufacturing or a related field) preferred
Strong mechanical aptitude and practical problem-solving skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
