About the Role
My client is a leading manufacturer investing in people and equipment – and now looking for a Production Technician to join the team. You’ll be a key part of keeping our production running smoothly while delivering the highest quality standards.
Main duties:
* Set up and run multiple production lines and equipment efficiently
* Carry out QC testing using a variety of equipment to ensure high quality standards
* Meet all production work requirements following operating procedures and work instructions
* Operate machinery safely, troubleshoot issues, and maintain smooth production processes
* Work as part of a team, supporting all company practices and Health, Safety & Environmental procedures
* Produce work to the highest standard in line with ISO9001 processes
* Experience running extrusion lines is a plus; otherwise, experience in plastic processing or general manufacturing is valuable
Person-profile requirements:
* Formal engineering qualification – college level
* Previous experience in a Production / Manufacturing / Factory environment is desirable but not essential
* Practical mechanical ability and strong problem-solving skills
* Good interpersonal skills, organised, punctual, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
* Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
* Effective verbal and written communication skills
* Due to site location, drivers with their own vehicle are preferred
