Remanufacturing Technician – Fuel Pumps & Injectors
Birmingham | 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays | Life Cover | 5% Employer Pension
Are you practical, detail-focused, and looking for a hands-on role in a clean, organised engineering environment?
We’re recruiting a Remanufacturing Technician to join the fuel systems team of a respected automotive engineering company. You’ll be working in a purpose-built facility, rebuilding high-quality components to OE-approved specifications, playing your part in ensuring precision, quality, and safety in every build.
Whether you’ve worked in mechanical assembly, technical production, or even hobbyist mechanics, this could be your next step into a business that values training, structure, and long-term development.
What You’ll Be Doing:

Assessing and preparing fuel pumps and injectors for rebuild
*
Reassembling components following OE-approved build specs
*
Testing units to manufacturer standards before release
*
Working to production targets while maintaining high-quality standards
*
Keeping accurate records and completing documentation
*
Following clean room and QHSE procedures at all times
What We’re Looking For:
*
Experience in mechanical assembly, technical production, or a similar environment
*
A steady hand and strong attention to detail
*
Comfortable working to deadlines and quality targets
*
A proactive, organised approach and a willingness to learn
*
Basic Microsoft Office skills – especially Excel – or willingness to get up to speed
*
Knowledge of fuel injection technology is desirable but not essential
