Job Description
Position : Production Technician
Location : Sheffield
Sector : Engineering, manufacturing
Salary : £28,000-£35,000 according to experience
Hours : Days only. 4 day week. 38 hours
The Role :
Mechanical assembly following engineering drawings
Using basic hand tools
Basic soldering and welding beneficial
Installing and wiring electrical components/panels from basic electrical schematics
Basic electrical test and inspection abilities preferredAbout you :
Good skill base in mechanical Assembly/fitting
Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
Previous machining processes and skill in performing machining operations such as drilling, milling, and turning would be a distinct advantage but not essential
Previous experience in Panel Wiring would be advantageous but is not essential
