Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead a portfolio of complex, high-impact initiatives within a professional services environment. This is a strategic, client-facing role that combines project delivery excellence with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive meaningful business outcomes. This is not a Technical or IT based PM position.
The role offers exposure to a diverse range of projects-from large-scale transformation and operational improvement programs to time-sensitive, high-stakes client engagements. You will act as a trusted adviser to partners, directors, and clients, ensuring work is delivered efficiently, commercially, and to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities:
Take ownership of end-to-end project delivery, coordinating multiple workstreams, teams, and stakeholders
Serve as the primary interface with senior clients and internal leadership, providing insight, guidance, and governance
Define, plan, and monitor project scope, schedules, budgets, and resources, balancing client expectations with business objectives
Identify risks and opportunities proactively, implementing strategies to mitigate issues and maximise value
Produce clear, actionable reporting for internal teams and clients, highlighting progress, challenges, and strategic decisions
Collaborate on commercial aspects of projects, including pricing, resource allocation, and performance tracking
Promote best practices, continuous improvement, and the adoption of digital tools and innovative solutions to enhance delivery efficiency
Candidate Requirements
Extensive experience managing complex, client-focused projects within professional services, insurance, financial services, healthcare or legal industries
Proven ability to influence and build credibility with senior stakeholders, including clients and leadership teams
Strong analytical, organisational, and commercial acumen, capable of juggling multiple priorities and deadlines
Excellent communication and presentation skills for both internal and client-facing interactions
Project management certifications (PRINCE2, PMP, Agile, MSP, or equivalent) are desirable
Proficiency with project management tools, reporting systems, and standard office software
