Job Description
Our client is a well-established manufacturer and repair specialist for excavator buckets used in the mining industry. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an Oxy Burning Machine Operator to join their skilled engineering team.
The Role:
*
Operating oxy-fuel burning machines to cut heavy plate steel to specification
*
Working from technical drawings and cutting lists
*
Using measuring equipment to ensure accuracy and quality
*
Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment
*
Assisting with general engineering duties as required
What We’re Looking For:
*
Previous experience operating oxy burning machines (or similar thermal cutting equipment)
*
Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
*
Strong attention to detail and quality standards
*
Willingness to work as part of a team in a heavy engineering environment
Pay & Shifts:
*
Initial Training Rate: £14.64 per hour PAYE (day shift)
*
Progression: Moving to night shift at £16.46 per hour after trainingBefore You Apply
