Job Description

Programme Manager - Aerospace Engineering

We’re supporting a leading engineering organisation in the aerospace and defence sector to recruit three Programme Managers to lead delivery of complex, high value product development programmes within a highly regulated environment.

This is a strategic, client facing role with ownership of multi million pound programmes, working across international teams to drive delivery from concept through to entry into service.

Contract Information:

12–24 month  contracts
Inside IR35
Rate DOE - £600-£750pd
4 days per week on site in Buckinghamshire
40hrs per week

The Role:

Take full ownership of end to end programme delivery, ensuring alignment to performance, cost, quality and schedule targets
Lead large scale, complex engineering programmes, spanning multiple workstreams, suppliers and international sites
Act as the senior interface to customers and key stakeholders
Drive programme strategy, governance and delivery frameworks, enabling clear decision making and control
French speaking is desirable but not essential 

What We’re Looking For:

Proven track record delivering complex, high value engineering programmes within aerospace, defence or similar regulated industries
Experience operating at senior programme level, with ownership of multiple workstreams or large scale delivery
Strong background in full product lifecycle delivery within structured development environments
Demonstrated ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders and customers
Deep understanding of programme governance, risk, change and performance management
Experience leading cross-functional and international teams
Experience working with OEMs or Tier 1 suppliers is desirable but not essential
Familiarity with frameworks such as stage-gate
