The Role
As a Programme Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring their requirements are met through careful planning, resource coordination, and technical oversight. You will manage programmes from conception to completion, control budgets and schedules, and mitigate risks to ensure successful delivery.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage a portfolio of programmes and projects, defining objectives, allocating resources, and overseeing progress.

Act as the technical liaison with customers, providing clear communication and building strong relationships.

Prepare Statements of Work, proposals, and cost data, supporting contract negotiations.

Oversee project deliverables including planning, cost control, and invoicing.
*
Coordinate cross-functional programme teams and provide subject matter expertise.

Manage programme schedules, budgets, risks, and compliance requirements.

Support business development activities, including exhibitions and production opportunities.
What You’ll Need:

Broad project management experience within engineering disciplines (design, testing, manufacturing).

Proven customer interface and stakeholder management skills.
*
Experience in risk management and negotiation.
*
Strong planning, organisational, and presentation skills.
*
Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Project.
*
Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
*
Basic project management post-graduate qualification (desirable).
*
Relevant professional membership such as IMechE, APM, or similar (desirable).
