We’re recruiting for an experienced Programme Project Manager to oversee the delivery of planned capital investment and revenue works programmes — including energy efficiency and sustainability projects — across a varied housing portfolio.
This is a leadership role managing Programme Surveyors and Resident Liaison & Project Coordinators, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while maintaining a strong customer focus.
Key responsibilities:

Plan, deliver, and monitor capital and revenue investment programmes, including sustainability retrofits
*
Oversee projects from inception to final account, ensuring compliance with all contract, quality, and budget requirements
*
Line manage and support a multi-skilled team, ensuring high levels of resident satisfaction
*
Prepare schedules of work, specifications, and AutoCAD drawings when required
*
Work with contractors and consultants to ensure works meet PAS2030 & PAS2035 (or equivalent) standards
*
Ensure all works comply with health & safety legislation, CDM regulations, and organisational policies
*
Monitor expenditure, reforecast budgets, and take action to address variances
*
Handle customer queries and complaints professionally and within agreed timescales
What you’ll need:
*
Degree in Building Surveying or related field (or equivalent experience)
*
Professional membership (RICS, CIOB, or equivalent) – desirable
*
Proven experience managing building contracts from inception to final account
*
Strong knowledge of housing investment, sustainability retrofit programmes, and relevant legislation
*
NEBOSH, SMSTS, or equivalent health & safety qualification
*
Excellent leadership, project management, and communication skills
*
A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work use
