Job Description
JRS Associates have partnered up with an exciting precision engineering company in Nottinghamshire to recruit for a driven and organised Progress Chaser to join their expanding team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background or understanding of engineering who enjoys working on the shopfloor, liaising with machinists and fabricators, and ensuring jobs move efficiently through production.
The Successful Progress Chaser – Package:

Pay: £14.00 – £14.50 per hour
*
Hours:
*
Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 4:30pm
*
Friday: 8:00am – 1:30pm
*
Contract Type: Permanent, full-time
*
Excellent working environment within a busy precision engineering shop
*
Stable company with ongoing contracts and a strong order book
The Successful Progress Chaser – Requirements:
*
Some knowledge or background in engineering – machining, fabrication, or manufacturing environments preferred
*
Strong communication skills and confidence to liaise with multiple departments
*
Ability to chase progress on machines and fabrication bays to ensure production targets are met
*
A proactive and organised approach to problem-solving and workflow management
*
A motivated, personable character who can drive efficiency and maintain good relationships on the shopfloor
*
Excellent attention to detail and understanding of production priorities
