Project Coordinator

Location: Pontefract
Salary: £32,000 + Benefits
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent

I am currently supporting a leading manufacturing business based in the Pontefract area who are looking to appoint a Project Coordinator. This role has become available due to recent investment and a strong pipeline of exciting projects scheduled over the coming years.

Key Responsibilities

  * Assist in planning, coordinating, and monitoring project activities

  * Maintain project documentation, schedules, and reports

  * Liaise with internal teams, contractors, and suppliers to ensure project progress

  * Support budget tracking, resource planning, and procurement activities

  * Identify risks, delays, and issues, escalating where appropriate

  * Ensure all project milestones and deliverables are aligned with business objectives

Requirements

  * Previous experience in a Project Coordinator or similar role

  * Experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment is highly advantageous

  * Strong organisational and communication skills

  * Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively

  * Proficient with Microsoft Office and project management tools

  * Positive, proactive approach with strong attention to detail
