Job Description

A great opportunity for a Project Delivery Engineer to join a Global Engineering Company based near Coventry, England. You will be working as part of a productive project and management team ensuring effective project delivery from concept to close out. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be focussing on the delivery of the work scope, meeting budgets/ deliverables and ensuring first class customer service.

Responsibilities:

  * Input and assist Project team with quotations and estimates.

  * Attend project kick off meetings with project and site teams.

  * Take ownership of project deliverables from initial work scope timings and costs, to final delivery at site.

  * Check and approve work instructions produced by project team.

  * Produce Risk Assessment & Method Statements.

  * Work with project team to improve quality of information sent to site.

  * Organise tooling and test equipment to be used on site.

  * Work with project team to ensure information, tooling, equipment etc is available on site at required time.

  * Ensure adherence to project plan once on site.

  * Be aware of project costs and notify project team of any possible risks to project budget & timescales.

  * Work to improve communication process between site and project team.

  * Ongoing management of site equipment and tooling.

  * Ensure project reports are delivered on time and are accurate.

  * Ensuring excellent quality and safety standards are maintained at all times.

Qualifications and Experience:

  * BTEC/HND Electrical Engineering

  * Awareness of financial and commercial impacts

  * Customer focused

  * Strong organisation and time management skills

  * Able to work flexibly on own initiative and part of a team

  * Ideally have experience working with and supervising a team

  * Shows desire to promote culture of Continuous Improvement
