Job Description
Part-time, 22 hours per week***
The role of Project and Design Manager is responsible for leading the planning, Execution and delivery of design - lead projects from beginning to end. Ensuring that the design quality is maintained while delivering on time and within budget.
Skills and Knowledge:
* Degree in Design, Engineering or a related field
* Minimum of 5 years experience in managing design-oriented projects
* Project Management Cert like PRINCE2 or PMP is highly desirable
* Proficient in Project Management tools and design software
* Excellent communication skills both written and oral
* Organisational and leadership skills
* Able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, often working to tight deadlines
Project Management:
* Develop and maintain project plans and timelines
* Monitor progress, resolving issues and provide regular updates
* Co-ordinate with internal and external stakeholders
* Lead end to end project life cycle including planning, budgeting, scheduling etc..
Design:
* Review and approve design concepts, drawings etc..
* Translate company needs and objectives
* Ensure adherence to design standards, best practice etc..
