Location: Warwick based with occasional travel to Livingston
Working Pattern: Hybrid 2-3 days office based in Warwick per week

About the Role:
As a Project Development Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the funding and development of critical projects for the UK Gas Infrastructure. Your mission? To take projects from conception to initiation, ensuring that every stage of the process has the necessary funding.
Your day-to-day will involve:
Utilizing the ND500 (Gas Network Development Process) to shape and drive projects.
Gathering and analysing relevant information to create compelling project proposals.
Presenting projects to the sanctioning committee to secure funding.
Collaborating closely with the project delivery team and acting as a liaison between internal and external stakeholders.
Engaging stakeholders to ensure their support and understanding of each project's objectives.
Monitoring project progress, reporting on outcomes, and ensuring delivery aligns with aims.
To thrive in this role, you'll need:
Essential:
A background in engineering (preferably in gas or utilities).
The ability to translate business plans into comprehensive investment plans.
Experience in writing sanction papers.
Strong stakeholder management skills.
A full UK car driving license.
Desirable:
HNC (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline.
Chartered or incorporated engineer status.
