Are you a chartered engineer with a background in delivering complex infrastructure projects, with a focus on structures, civils, M&E disciplines? We are working with a client on a long-term contract opportunity in Essex. See below;

Project Engineer 
Contract Term: Until November 2026 initially
Location: Essex
Job Type: Contract (3 days onsite per week)We are seeking a Chartered Engineer with a passion for delivering complex infrastructure projects to join a major aviation programme as a Project Engineer. This role offers the chance to work on high-profile projects such as terminal extensions and airfield developments at one of the UK's busiest airports.

Day-to-day of the role:

Support the Project Manager during both the design and on-site phases of the project.
Lead technical reviews and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Collaborate closely with contractors and stakeholders to keep projects on schedule and efficiently resolve challenges.
Utilise your expertise in civils, structures, or M&E within a live operational environment.
Thrive in a dynamic setting, applying your experience with fit-out or transport infrastructure to make a significant impact.Required Skills & Qualifications:

Chartered Engineer status.
Proven experience in delivering complex infrastructure projects, particularly in aviation, civils, structures, or M&E.
Strong ability to lead technical reviews and ensure project compliance with safety and quality standards.
Excellent collaboration skills to work effectively with contractors and stakeholders.
Experience in dynamic and operational environments, ideally with fit-out or transport infrastructure projects.
Must be able to undergo CTC vetting (process starts at interview).Benefits:
