Job Description

Job Title - Security Project Engineer

Location - Cayman Islands

Salary - Up to £65,000 + commission (Tax Free) company car, relocation allowance

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Security Installation Project Engineer to join a leading organisation delivering high-spec security projects across the Cayman Islands.

This role is ideal for a hands-on, lead-level engineer with strong experience in access control, CCTV, and integrated security systems, who can run installations, manage engineers on-site, and deliver projects from start to finish.

The Role

  * 

    Take ownership of security system installations, from first fix through to commissioning and handover

  * 

    Lead and coordinate on-site teams and subcontractors, ensuring projects are delivered safely and on time

  * 

    Remain hands-on, carrying out installation, configuration, commissioning, and fault finding

  * 

    Deliver projects across commercial, government, and high-security environments

  * 

    Ensure all systems are installed and commissioned to manufacturer and industry standards

  * 

    Produce commissioning documentation, reports, and handover packs

  * 

    Liaise with clients and project stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery and client satisfaction

Key Skills & Experience

  * 

    Proven experience in security system installation and project delivery

  * 

    Strong background in access control, CCTV, and integrated security systems

  * 

    Experience leading teams or acting as a lead engineer / supervisor on-site

  * 

    Ability to manage projects, timelines, and site activities independently

  * 

    Strong fault finding, commissioning, and system configuration skills

  * 

    Excellent communication and client-facing ability

Systems Experience (Highly Desirable)

  * 

    Access Control – Lenel, C-Cure, Paxton or similar

  * 

    CCTV / VMS – Genetec, Dahua or similar

  * 

    Intruder Alarms – Galaxy or similar

  * 

    Experience with integrated / enterprise-level security platforms
