You will ensure that assets are designed, built, and delivered in line with programme requirements, standards, and policies. This role combines on-site presence and office-based oversight, typically requiring 2-3 days a week on site at locations along the contract corridor. You will perform physical assurance, defect management, PMAFs, and pre- and post-construction assurance activities, occasionally acting as the sole representative on site. Undertake NEC3/NEC4 Supervisor duties and ensure contractor processes, procedures, and deliverables meet programme standards. Review inspection and test plans, VAPs, and SNCs; report findings and maintain accurate assurance records. Act as a point of contact on site, liaising with contractors, sub-agents, and project teams. Skills and Experience Required Broad civil engineering experience with at least 5 years in and around construction sites, ideally client-side or assurance-focused. Strong knowledge of construction assurance deliverables, including inspection plans, defect management, PMAFs, and reporting. NEC3 or NEC4 Supervisor experience is essential. Driving licence is essential. Experience across multiple asset types: heavy civils, structures, tunnels, earthworks, and environmental works is desired.
