Job Description
Do you have an understanding of processes such as machining and fabrication?
Have you previously delivered projects within Aerospace and to Aerospace customers?

The basics:
Role: Project Engineer - Aerospace department
Location: Redditch
Contract: 9 months FTC
Salary: £60000 pro rata
Hours: 39 hours per week working the Monday to Thursday 07.30 to 16.30 and Friday 07.30 to 12.30
Contracted hours: 40 per week
Overview:
We now require an additional Project Engineer to deliver an important project for the business.
You will be working in a first-class precision engineering environment that have processes such as machining, fabrication and a number of out sourced processes also.
As the Project Engineer you will be working in a technical role managing the delivery of the project from start to finish.
The ideal candidate Project Engineer may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:
Experience in delivering projects within the Aerospace sector.
Knowledge of processes such as - machining and/or fabrication.
Excellent inter-personal and presentation skills.
Competence in Office particularly Excel, Word and Project.
Good working knowledge of MRP/ERP systems
Ability to read manufacturing drawings and specifications and break out the details and processes required for each operation required for manufacture.
Capable of working un-supervised and using own initiative.Commutable from, Alcester, Redditch, Stratford-upon-Avon and surrounding areas.
