We have an opportunity for a Project Lead Engineer to support a major defence infrastructure project in the West of Scotland.
Essential Skills & Experience
* Degree qualification in a relevant engineering or scientific discipline.
* Chartered Engineer status or demonstrable progress towards achieving it (evidence of continued professional development required).
* Experience working in a highly regulated environment, demonstrating compliance with legislation and standards.
* Strong knowledge and experience in Mechanical Engineering, including familiarity with British Standards and Eurocodes.
* Proven expertise across concept design, detailed design, and construction stages in heavy industrial and/or mechanical engineering systems.
* Experience managing project engineering work packages, including site implementation and integration, within a regulated environment.
* Proficiency in reviewing and producing technical documentation, such as reports, calculations, drawings, and specifications.
* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively across diverse teams.
Location
The role is Hybrid where 3 days per week will be spent in the office in Glasgow City Centre. There will also be occasional travel to site so your own transport is essential.
