Contract Project Engineering Manager Location: Manchester (Hybrid, min. 3 days/week) Rate: £65/hour | Outside IR35 Sector: Infrastructure - Nuclear, Water, Transport The Role We're hiring an experienced Project Engineering Manager on a contract basis to lead multi-disciplinary design delivery on major UK infrastructure projects in regulated sectors. Key Duties Manage engineering design through all project stages Lead multi-discipline teams and coordinate delivery Ensure safety, quality, schedule, and cost targets are met Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams Support proposals, governance, and risk management Requirements Strong experience in complex, regulated infrastructure projects Client-facing leadership and team coordination skills Degree in Engineering (essential) SC clearance eligible Chartered Engineer / APM (desirable)
