In the role you will be a pivotal member of the EVI Sales team and responsible for pricing small and large scale installation projects in accordance with tender documents, drawings and specifications. You will need to have excellent attention to detail and organisational skills, be able to work on your own initiative and prioritise work effectively, and have experience of working within the construction industry.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities
Identify suitable tender opportunities and contact current and prospective customers using company databases
Review, extract and interpret key and relevant information from tender enquiries, including specifications and drawings
Produce comprehensive and specification compliant quotations in line with relevant industry standards using a variety of company specific software applications
Communicate effectively with customers, suppliers and internal teams to fulfil tender obligations and requirements
Produce and present reports, and attend meetings with customers, suppliers, and internal teams as required
Skills and Personal Attributes
Previous working experience within the construction industry and/or contractor organisation
Proficient in reading and understanding project tender documentation, specifications and drawings
Proficient use of a variety of IT software applications, including full MS Office Suite, RM, estimating software
Confident and capable communicator
The Package
Hours of work - 40 hours per week, office based - Mon-Fri 8am-5pm (Northolt, Middlesex)
Holidays - 20 days per annum (increasing annually to a maximum of 25 days after 5 years) plus 8 Bank holidays
