Job Description
Ridgeway & Co are working with an established and reputable main contractor who are seeking a Project Manager to take day-to-day responsibility for the delivery of a residential project in Leatherhead paying up to £85,000 PA.
This is an excellent opportunity for a driven and experienced construction professional to join a growing contractor with a strong pipeline of residential work across the East of England.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage construction projects from start to finish.
*
Coordinate teams of subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and site staff.
*
Develop project timelines, budgets, and resource plans.
*
Monitor project progress and report on key milestones, risks, and performance metrics.
*
Ensure all works are carried out in compliance with health & safety, environmental, and quality standards.
*
Build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and the internal team.
*
Handle contract administration and cost control in collaboration with quantity surveyors.
*
Problem-solve issues proactively to keep the project on track.
Requirements
*
Proven experience as a Project Manager within the construction industry.
*
Strong understanding of construction methods, building regulations, and contract management.
*
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
*
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
*
Proficient in project management tools (e.g. MS Project, Asta Powerproject, or similar).
*
SMSTS, CSCS card, and First Aid qualification (required).
*
Degree or relevant qualification in Construction Management or similar (preferred)Before You Apply
