Project Manager (CONTRACT) - New Food Manufacturing Facility (Sheffield)
Day Rate: £350-£400 per day
Contract Length: 6-9 months
Location: Sheffield
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager to take the reins on a greenfield food manufacturing site development in Sheffield.
We're working with a rapidly expanding food manufacturer who are investing heavily in a brand-new production facility. They require a hands-on and highly organised Project Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of this site - from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities:
Full project lifecycle management, from initial groundworks to commissioning and handover
Oversee civil engineering elements, ensuring safety, quality, and timelines are met
Manage all subcontractors and third-party suppliers on-site
Ensure HSE compliance across the project, working closely with internal and external stakeholders
Deliver regular progress reports and updates to the senior leadership team
Drive performance to ensure key milestones and audits are achieved on time
What We're Looking For:
Proven experience managing complex capital projects in food manufacturing or similar environments
Solid understanding of manufacturing fit-out
Strong grasp of Health & Safety, compliance, and audit frameworks (ideally within a regulated industry)
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Ability to lead multiple trades and contractors on a fast-paced buildBefore You Apply
