Off-Site) Project Manager – Invasive Weed Department Location: Office-Based (UK-Wide Project Coordination) Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 (Dependent on Skills & Experience) Employment Type: Full-time /Permanent We here at Grounds Care Group have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager (Office based, UK -Wide) for our Invasive Weed Department to join our busy but friendly team. We are offering a competitive salary of £40,000 to £50,000 (dependent upon skills & experience), on a Full Time, Permanent Contract Company Overview: We carry out Grounds Maintenance, Landscape Improvement Works, Bulk Waste Removal, Japanese Knotweed Treatments, Gritting/Snow Clearance and Winter Maintenance Services for our multiple Clients across the UK. Job Summary: We are looking for a proactive, initiative-taking and highly organised Project Manager to head up our Invasive Weed Department. This is an office-based role focused on scheduling, coordination, and line management of multiple teams working across the UK. You will play a key role in ensuring the effective planning and execution of excavation and treatment visits while managing staff and resources efficiently. This role offers significant growth potential, with opportunities to expand responsibilities as the department develops. Key Responsibilities: - Scheduling & Coordination: Plan and oversee excavation and treatment visits, ensuring efficient operations across multiple sites. - Team Management: Directly manage and support multiple teams, ensuring smooth workflow and productivity. - Project Oversight: Monitor project timelines, resolve scheduling conflicts, and ensure adherence to compliance and safety regulations. - Client & Stakeholder Liaison: Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies to provide updates and manage expectations. - Operational Efficiency: Take a logical and initiative-driven approach to problem-solving, ensuring seamless project execution. - Multi-Tasking & Organisation: Oversee multiple teams and projects simultaneously, managing priorities effectively. - Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate records of treatments, excavations, and site visits for compliance and internal tracking. Requirements: - Industry experience is not essential – full training will be provided. - Experience in highways maintenance or a similar multi-site project environment is highly desirable. - Strong scheduling, coordination, and team management skills. - Logical thinker with the ability to take initiative and problem-solve effectively. - Ability to manage multiple projects and teams across various locations. - Proficiency in scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite.
