Take Full Ownership of Major Lift Projects – From Tender to Completion
Marmon Lift Recruitment is recruiting for a large, independent lift engineering company with a multimillion-pound pipeline of major lift modernisation and new installation projects set to kick off in 2026.
This is a high-impact, cradle-to-grave role for a technically strong professional ready to manage full project lifecycles – from site surveys and tendering to design coordination and delivery.
Package:
*
Basic Salary: £60,000 - £70,000
*
Commission: Year 1 – None (focus on existing projects); Year 2+ – structured bonus based on new business conversion
*
Car: £6,000 car allowance or company vehicle
*
Benefits: 25 days holiday + bank holidays, pension, hybrid working
Key Responsibilities of a Project Manager:
*
Conduct site surveys (lift shafts, control panels, ropes, gears, cars)
*
Lead tendering and pricing for modernisation and installation projects
*
Manage client relationships and act as the primary point of contact
*
Liaise with internal design, sales, and project delivery teams
*
Oversee project execution, ensuring time, budget & quality targets
*
Ensure CDM, health & safety, and industry compliance
Ideal Candidate for this Project Manager role:
*
Ex-lift installation or modernisation engineer
*
Experienced in full lifecycle project delivery
*
Strong surveying and technical diagnostic skills
*
Comfortable managing clients and coordinating teams
*
Full UK driving licence
