Location: Orwell Logistics Park, Suffolk (3-4 days per week on site) Contract Type: Contract (via Morson Talent) Project: Sizewell C - EDF Energy Working Pattern: Hybrid About the Role Morson Talent is proud to be working in partnership with EDF Energy to recruit a Project Manager for the landmark Sizewell C Project - one of the UK's most significant infrastructure and energy developments. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key part in delivering a new generation of clean, low-carbon nuclear power. Building on the success of Hinkley Point C, Sizewell C will provide dependable electricity to around 6 million homes for 60 years, supporting Britain's ambition to achieve Net Zero by 2050. You'll be joining a dynamic and growing project team at Orwell Logistics Park, working on one of the largest and most exciting megaprojects in Europe. Key Responsibilities As a Project Manager, you will play a central role in driving project delivery from RIBA Stage 2 through to completion, ensuring design integrity, commercial performance, and quality outcomes. Your responsibilities will include: Progressing design development from RIBA Stage 2 to Stage 4, securing statutory and regulatory sign-offs. Preparing comprehensive tender documentation, including designer novations to contractors. Managing the contractor tender process at RIBA Stage 4. Overseeing programme, cost, design compliance, and quality throughout the construction period, in collaboration with SZC's commercial, planning, and design teams. Leading and managing client and contractor change control processes. Engaging with internal SZC stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of deliverables and timelines. Monitoring contractor performance against SZC metrics, including Planning Conditions, Building Control, and design milestones. Coordinating project handover and training for the client team. Managing internal reporting and governance for project progress. Leading a multidisciplinary SZC project team (Commercial, Planning, Design, H&S, PD, etc.). About You We're looking for a proactive, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a complex, high-profile client-side environment. The ideal candidate will bring: Proven experience managing client-side construction projects through RIBA Stages 2-6 to completion. A strong background in cut-and-carve or fit-out projects (experience in maintenance or operational facilities advantageous but not essential). A sound understanding of Mechanical and Electrical installations (with support from M&E design teams). Solid working knowledge of JCT and NEC contracts. Ability to navigate and manage complex client governance frameworks. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. Familiarity with CEMAR is beneficial but not essential.
