Project/Programme Manager – R&D | Cambridge (Waterbeach)
Full-Time, Permanent
A leading engineering business is seeking a Project/Programme Manager to support and coordinate R&D and engineering projects. This role is key to ensuring technical projects are delivered on time, on budget, and aligned with wider business goals.
What You’ll Do - Project/Programme Manager – R&D | Cambridge (Waterbeach):
* Manage multiple R&D and engineering projects from start to completion
* Build and maintain project plans, schedules, and risk registers
* Coordinate meetings, track actions, and support technical teams
* Oversee programme-level reporting and ensure alignment across projects
* Identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities for process improvement
* Work with Product, Operations and Commercial teams to support delivery
What We’re Looking For - Project/Programme Manager – R&D | Cambridge (Waterbeach):
* Experience in project or programme management within engineering, R&D or technical environments
* Strong knowledge of engineering development lifecycles
* Skilled in planning, risk management, reporting, and stakeholder communication
* Experience using project management tools (MS Project, Jira, etc.)
* Experience in PRINCE2, MSP, PMP, or Agile advantageous
