Project Manager - Cladding Remediation
Location: Leeds City Centre
Salary: Up to £60,000 + £6,000 Car Allowance
Contract Type: Permanent – Main Contractor
Role
We are recruiting an experienced Project Manager to lead a £1m Cladding Remediation project on a prominent office building in Leeds City Centre. This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected main contractor with a strong pipeline of remediation and refurbishment work across the region.
You will take full responsibility for delivering the project safely, on programme, and to the highest quality standards, managing subcontractors, liaising with the client team, and ensuring compliance with new building safety and cladding regulations.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the full project lifecycle of a cladding remediation scheme valued at approx. £1m.
* Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure efficient and safe project delivery.
* Develop and manage project programmes, risk plans, method statements, and progress reports.
* Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
* Ensure strict compliance with building safety, fire safety, and façade remediation standards.
* Monitor costs, variations, and commercial performance in collaboration with the commercial team.
* Oversee site health & safety, quality control, and regulatory compliance.
Key Requirements
* Proven experience as a Project Manager within a main contractor environment.
* Strong background in cladding, façade, or remediation projects (essential).
* Excellent knowledge of current building and fire safety legislation.
* Strong communication, leadership, and client-facing skills.
* Ability to manage multiple moving parts, solve problems proactively, and drive programme delivery.
* SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid; relevant construction qualifications preferred.
