Job Description

Job Title: MEP / HVAC Project Manager
Location: Edinburgh
Salary: £60,000+ + Car / Allowance

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced MEP Project Manager / HVAC Project Manager / Mechanical Project Manager to join a well-established, growing engineering business delivering large-scale mechanical and electrical projects across the UK.

This role is based on a £3.5M decarbonisation project in Edinburgh, with a strong pipeline of secured work across West Scotland.

The Role

As an MEP / HVAC Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for site delivery, managing mechanical installations, subcontractors, and programme performance.

This is a mechanically biased role focused on HVAC upgrades, including AHUs, air source heat pumps, and plant room installations.

Project Scope

  * 

    Replacement of rooftop AHUs

  * 

    Installation of air source heat pumps

  * 

    New pipework and plant rooms

  * 

    BMS integration and associated electrical works

Key Responsibilities

  * 

    Manage site operations and subcontractors to deliver projects on programme

  * 

    Oversee HVAC installations and ensure quality and compliance

  * 

    Manage Health & Safety, RAMS, and site documentation

  * 

    Liaise with commercial, design, and supply chain teams

  * 

    Support commissioning and project handover

Requirements

  * 

    Proven experience as an MEP / HVAC / Mechanical Project Manager or Site Manager

  * 

    Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including AHUs and heat pumps

  * 

    Experience managing subcontractors, programmes, and H&S compliance

  * 

    Strong organisational and communication skills

  * 

    SMSTS (or equivalent) preferred

  * 

    Site-based in Edinburgh

  * 

    Commutable candidates only

  * 

    No long-distance travel required
