The Opportunity
We are recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to lead an £8m commercial fit out project in Bristol. This is a key appointment with a leading workplace and commercial interiors contractor known for delivering high-quality office, CAT A / CAT B fit out, refurbishment, and workplace transformation projects across the UK.
The business has built a strong reputation for programme certainty, quality delivery, and robust project controls. They are seeking a Project Manager who is exceptionally strong on systems, process, documentation, and governance as well as day-to-day site leadership.
The Role
As Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for the delivery of the fit out project from mobilisation through to completion and handover. You will manage site operations, subcontractors, programme, commercial coordination, health & safety, quality assurance, and stakeholder communication throughout the project lifecycle.
This role would suit someone who thrives in structured, process-driven environments and has a proven track record of delivering commercial interiors projects using strong project management systems and controls.
Key Responsibilities

Full project leadership across an £8m commercial fit out scheme.

Management of site teams, subcontractors, programme, and project delivery milestones.
*
Driving health & safety compliance and maintaining a safe, well-managed site environment.
*
Ownership of project systems, documentation, reporting, QA records, change control, and governance processes.
*
Coordination with commercial, design, procurement, and operational teams.
*
Client-facing project management including progress meetings and stakeholder communication.
*
Management of risk, programme performance, and handover activities.
*
Ensuring the project is delivered to programme, budget, quality, and compliance requirements.
Requirements
*
Proven experience as a Project Manager on commercial fit out or workplace projects.
*
Strong background delivering projects in the £5m–£10m+ range.
*
Excellent systems and process capability, including project controls, reporting, QA, and documentation management.
*
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
*
Ability to operate within fast-paced, high-specification commercial environments.
