We are working on behalf of a global financial services client to bring to market a PM position. This is an opportunity for an experienced project manager to join a global organisation working on a review of their trading book. This role will initially run until May 2026 although it is part of a wider long-term program of work, so would have potential to extend beyond this.
Key responsibilities include:
Lead change and transformation projects in Capital Markets, focusing on regulation, risk, and controls
Use knowledge of markets, products, and risk (market/credit) to support initiatives
Build strong relationships and collaborate with stakeholders across trading, finance, risk, tech, and operations
Gather business requirements and work with technology teams to turn them into solutions
Manage risks, dependencies, and updates while keeping stakeholders informed and projects on track
Key experience and skills:
5-7 years of experience as a project manager
Experience within a capital markets environment
Experience with key regulations and front-office trading environments highly desirable
Strong understanding of derivatives, risk, and profit & loss processes
Proven ability to manage complex projects and deliver strategic change in Capital Markets
Excellent communication skills with the confidence to influence senior stakeholders
Analytical mindset with problem-solving ability and several years of relevant industry experience
