Location: Gloucestershire

Salary: Up to £75,000 per annum + Comprehensive Package

Project Manager – Residential Groundworks

Our client is a leading residential groundworks contractor with an established reputation for delivering high-quality infrastructure packages for some of the UK's largest housebuilders.

Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, they are looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to oversee multiple residential groundworks projects across Gloucestershire and the surrounding counties.

The Role

As Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for the successful delivery of residential groundworks schemes from pre-start through to completion. Working closely with Contracts Managers, Site Managers, Engineers and the Commercial Team, you will ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Projects will typically include:

•	Residential infrastructure packages
•	Roads and sewers
•	Earthworks
•	Foundations
•	Plot works
•	Drainage
•	Utilities
•	External works

Project values generally range from £2 million to £20 million.

Key Responsibilities

•	Manage the operational delivery of multiple residential groundworks projects.
•	Ensure projects are completed safely, on time and within budget.
•	Lead and support Site Managers, Engineers and Foremen.
•	Produce and monitor project programmes.
•	Coordinate labour, plant, materials and subcontractors.
•	Chair site progress meetings with clients and consultants.
•	Monitor project performance, quality and productivity.
•	Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety and environmental legislation.
•	Work collaboratively with the Commercial Team to manage project costs and variations.
•	Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.

About You

The successful candidate will have:

•	Proven experience as a Project Manager within residential groundworks.
•	Strong knowledge of roads & sewers, earthworks, drainage, foundations and external works.
•	Experience delivering projects for major UK housebuilders.
•	Excellent leadership and communication skills.
•	Strong planning and organisational ability.
•	Commercial awareness with the ability to manage project performance.
•	SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications.
•	Full UK Driving Licence.
