Job Description

Are you an experienced Project Manager looking to join one of South Wales' leading contractors? Or are you a successful Senior Site Manager ready to take the next step into Project Management?

Our client is a highly respected main contractor with an outstanding reputation for delivering many of South Wales' landmark construction projects. With an impressive portfolio of live schemes and a strong pipeline of secured work, this is an excellent opportunity to join a business that offers long-term career progression and project continuity across the region.

The successful candidate will initially take responsibility for delivering a major student accommodation development in Central Cardiff. The project involves a substantial refurbishment alongside new-build extensions and has an anticipated programme of approximately 18 months.

Following the successful completion of this scheme, you will have the opportunity to continue working on a variety of high-profile regional projects, providing excellent job security and genuine career development.

The Role

  * Lead the successful delivery of a major student accommodation project from construction through to completion.

  * Manage programme, quality, health and safety, and commercial performance.

  * Coordinate subcontractors, consultants and the wider project team.

  * Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

  * Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

About You

  * Experience as a Project Manager within the construction industry, or a proven Senior Site Manager looking to progress into a Project Management role.

  * Previous experience delivering refurbishment and/or new-build projects for a main contractor.

  * Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.

  * Commercial awareness with the ability to drive programmes and manage project delivery.

  * A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a commitment to quality and client satisfaction.
