A respected and long-established construction and engineering consultancy is seeking a Project Manager to join their growing team, supporting the delivery of high-profile projects across the built environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager looking to take ownership of a diverse portfolio of projects within sectors including healthcare, education, heritage, and public infrastructure. The successful Project Manager will manage schemes from inception through to completion, playing a pivotal role in delivering best-in-class outcomes for clients across the UK.
The Project Manager will work closely with senior stakeholders, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams, leading project delivery with a focus on quality, cost, and time objectives. The role offers significant scope for development, with structured support towards chartership and the opportunity to progress into senior leadership roles.
Role Responsibilities:
Oversee full project lifecycle from initial brief through to handover
Lead and coordinate project teams, managing scope, programme, cost, and risk
Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as main point of contact
Prepare and manage project documentation, including reports, contracts, and risk registers
Ensure compliance with CDM regulations and relevant contract procedures (including NEC and JCT)
Support business development and contribute to company growth strategySkills & Experience Required:
A degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or similar
Chartered or working towards membership of a recognised professional body (MAPM, MRICS, MCIOB, MICE)
Demonstrable experience as a Project Manager delivering construction or infrastructure schemes
A strong understanding of contract administration and project delivery frameworks
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience working within a consultancy environmentIn Return:
£50,000 - £60,000 salary (dependent on experience)
Minimum 30-33 days holiday (inclusive of bank holidays), with option to buy/sell
