Job Title: Project Manager (Retail Refrigeration Packages)
Location: London
Rate: £300.000 - £330.000 (Freelance with Potential Temp to Perm)
Key Requirements:
5+ years' experience working as a Project Manager completing refrigeration projects within the retail sector
City & Guilds NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning
F-Gas qualification: City & Guilds 2079, BESA F-Gas, CITB J11, or LCL F-Gas
Understanding of RS232/RJ485 2/4 wire, Cat5e/Cat6 networks, and peripheral controls/interfaces.
Good communicator, able to deal with a range of people, tasks and obligations
Well organised, self-starter, able to implement procedures and effectively manage all aspects of the works
Commercial knowledge and ability to negotiate terms with a range of partiesRole Overview:
We are looking for a Project Manager to manage refrigeration package installations on retail sites. You will be expected to coordinate site activities, ensure adherence to H&S protocols and ensure that all installations meet project design specifications.
Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Operations Director
Interacting with clients, addressing questions, concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction.
Issue RAMS, toolbox talks and inductions
Liaising with internal sub-contractors
Prepare reports for management regarding project status and performance.
Direct and manage day-to-day operations on construction sites, following project plans, specifications, and safety regulations
Implement and enforce all aspects of site safety & conduct regular safety inspections
Monitor and maintain quality control standards, ensuring that all work meets or exceeds company standards
Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and any changes to the original project plan.
Efficiently allocate resources, including site teams and materials
