Job Description
An excellent opportunity has become available for a Project Manager to join an established Electrical Contractor based in Aberdeen. You will be joining a company who are emersed in sectors such as Renewables, Oil and Gas, Utilities, Marine, Defence and more. It is a must that you have an electrical background, ideally in electrical rotating machinery. The purpose of this role will be to plan and manage project to the highest of standards whilst implementing changes and submit reports when required.
Responsibilities:
* Achieve overall objectives by driving high standards of work, safety and continuous improvement.
* Responsible for budget of the project including cash flow and collection. Overseeing forecasts.
* Ensure compliance with company policies.
* Understand and work with contracts.
* Establish new business opportunities, generate quotations and deliver opportunities to tender.
* Manage costs and improve efficiency.
* Define project scope and objectives.
Skills Required:
* Demonstrable Project Management experience.
* Background in Electrical Engineering – ideally rotating machinery.
* Strong interpersonal and organisational skills.
* Proven commercial knowledge and negotiation skills.
