Job Description

We're recruiting on behalf of a leading residential developer for an experienced Site/Project Manager to take charge of finishing out a c.30-unit new build housing scheme in Reading, part of a wider ongoing development.

This is a temp-to-perm opportunity offering genuine long-term security, with a strong potential move onto a 250-unit site near Oxford once the Reading scheme completes — a great chance to progress with a business that's got live pipeline for the right person.

The Role

  * Take ownership of a c.30-unit residential site through to final completion and handover

  * Manage subcontractors, trades, and programme to ensure quality and deadlines are hit

  * Liaise with clients, NHBC/warranty providers, and the wider site team

  * Drive health & safety standards and site compliance throughout

  * Report into a supportive regional/contracts management structure

What We're Looking For

  * Proven experience as a No. 1 Site Manager or Project Manager on residential new build schemes

  * Comfortable managing a site through to finish/handover stage

  * SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid (essential)

  * Strong communication skills and a hands-on, delivery-focused approach

  * Full driving licence
