Contract Opportunity: Senior Project Planner – Manchester 🚨

Start Date: Immediate | Contract - Hybrid Working (3 days on-site in Manchester)

A leading infrastructure consultancy is seeking an experienced Senior Planner to support a major tunnelling and earthworks programme based in Manchester. This is a high-impact role offering the opportunity to play a key part in a prestigious project shaping the future of UK infrastructure.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

  * Develop, manage and optimise detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.

  * Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.

  * Track and report on project progress, ensuring delivery timelines and milestones are met.

  * Ensure full compliance with NEC contract requirements and maintain accurate documentation.

  * Engage professionally with clients, contractors and stakeholders to support delivery excellence.

✅ Essential Skills & Experience

  * Proven experience as a Senior Planner within major infrastructure or civil engineering projects.

  * Strong working knowledge of NEC contracts.

  * Demonstrable background in client-side planning roles.

  * Expertise in Primavera P6 and project controls.

  * Experience within tunnelling, earthworks or large-scale construction highly desirable.

  * Exceptional communication, organisation and analytical skills.

📍 Location & Working Pattern

  * Manchester City Centre based

  * 3 days onsite / 2 days remote (hybrid flexibility)
