About The Role Engineered to Protect, that’s our promise, we protect what matters - our nations, our waters, our land, our cities, our people, our environment, our world. The Project Quality Engineer acts as a customer representative in the bid and project teams, focusing on promoting a culture of continuous improvement, customer satisfaction, identifying and mitigating risk ensuring our business learns project lessons. Project Quality Engineer will be based at either our Beckington, Barnstaple or Bristol sites. This role allows for flexible working, with the requirement of x1 day per week In Barnstaple. The salary for this role is up to £50k, depending on experience. What you’ll be doing  Encouraging and developing best practice, promoting a quality culture and environment of continuous improvement and customer focus Identify risks with a proactive approach, implement mitigations actions and collaborate with Project & Bid teams in resolving problems Planning and performing project audits and surveillance activities in accordance with our product lifecycle, Project Quality Plans (AQAP 2105) and our audit strategy Support project & bid team to ensure objectives/ criteria for each of the engineering project gates are achieved Provide visibility to management and alert when necessary, in cases of non-compliance not properly addressed or in case of a critical event/ situation generating a major risk for the project / bid or for the company. Analise the customer's Quality requirements, define and set up the Quality plans in the project phase, and ensure the plan contains all the measures necessary to fulfil the standards and reference system. Manage Quality element and contribute to project reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, MRR, TRR, TRB), ensuring that they are carried out according to a consistent and coherent documentation Coordinate and control all product quality activities within the framework of the projects (Test Readiness, Reliability, FMECA, etc.). Coordinate and supervise the activities of Non Conformance review boards ensuring RCA is robust Assure that teams capitalize on lessons learnt, with changes embedded in each relevant step of our QMS to prevent re-occurrence  About our company At SEA, we develop and deliver advanced solutions to make our world safer, cleaner and more efficient.
