Job Description

Our client is one of the UK's leading infrastructure contractors, working nationwide on iconic projects and frameworks.

Due to continual growth and successfully winning a number of new frameworks and projects, our client is looking to recruit a Project Quantity Surveyor from an infrastructure background, with rail framework experience an advantage.

As the successful candidate, you will be crucial in the support of a £50+ million package of work over the next few years in the South East.

Project Quantity Surveyor roles and responsibilities:

You will be responsible for the robust commercial management of a variety of projects. This includes overseeing financial performance, managing costs, conducting procurement processes, and maintaining accurate financial logs and reports.

You will work closely with customers and stakeholders to support successful project delivery, ensuring compliance with contractual terms and achieving business plan commitments.
Have ownership and responsibility for contract administration for your own projects through to Final Accounts.
Set and manage budgets ensuring all costs are correctly allocated.
Provide procurement support to ensure each project is delivered safely, timely, at the least cost and to optimal quality.
Preparation of contract documents, including bills of quantities, CVR's, subcontract accounts and invoicing.Project Quantity Surveyor requirements:

Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or construction related qualification with relevant experience.
Quantity Survey experience within civil engineering environment, working for a Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractor.
NEC Contracts experience is essential.
Experience working on a Network Rail Framework is advantageous.
Experience interfacing and working collaboratively with project, engineering teams, finance and procurement teams.
Conversant with different types of Estimating Software and generally strong IT Skills.Project Quantity Surveyor Benefits:
