Project Quantity Surveyor Location: London / Essex

Danny Sullivan Group is seeking a talented Project Quantity Surveyor to join our team, working on major civils and earthworks projects across the London area. This role will see you managing project costs, supporting delivery, and helping achieve our client’s vision.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement & Contracts – Assist in procuring specialist trades, recommending appointments to the Project Director, and supporting the drafting of subcontract agreements.
Cost Management – Review, assess, and finalise subcontractor interim valuations and final accounts; evaluate design changes for cost impact and advise the team promptly.
Value Engineering – Identify and recommend cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
Client Valuations – Prepare and submit monthly valuations to the Employer’s Representative, securing timely agreement.
Financial Reporting – Contribute to internal cost reports including cost/value reconciliations, turnover reports, prelim cost tracking, and project outcome forecasts.
Final Account Management – Support in preparing the project’s final account submission to the Client.
Contractual Advice – Provide proactive and accurate contract-related guidance to the Project Director.Experience & Qualifications
Level 8 degree (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally in civils/earthworks.
Strong experience dealing with subcontractors and clients.
Sound problem-solving skills with a commercial mindset.
Working knowledge of current industry agreements and contracts.
Self-motivated, able to work independently and collaboratively.
