Project Quantity Surveyor - Limerick
Permanent | Full-time | Competitive Salary
We are seeking an experienced Project Quantity Surveyor to join a growing team delivering high-quality electrical and construction projects across Ireland. This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially focused professional to work on exciting projects from the tender stage through to the final account, ensuring the best possible outcomes for all stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage project costs from inception to completion, including budgeting, forecasting, and developing BOQs.
Prepare and present detailed cost reports to Project and Commercial Managers.
Administer subcontractor accounts, interim valuations, payment certificates, and final accounts.
Lead and attend commercial meetings with clients and internal teams.
Identify, cost, and agree variations, dayworks, and contract claims.
Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and commercial performance.
Collaborate with project planners to ensure accurate scheduling and progress reporting.
Maintain comprehensive project documentation, supporting commercial tracking and audits.
Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of quality, efficiency, and collaboration.
Requirements:
Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or a related field.
5+ years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally with exposure to electrical or construction projects.
Strong understanding of contract law, cost control, and procurement processes.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and organisational skills.
Proficient in MS Office and other relevant software; ERP experience is a plus.
Full, clean driving licence.
