Project Quantity Surveyor – Client Side (Design7Build)
Location: Glasgow, Scotland

Our client, a highly regarded Design & Build Consultancy, is seeking to appoint a Project Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team in Glasgow. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a client-side capacity, supporting the delivery of high-quality construction projects while ensuring robust commercial and contractual management.
Role Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for the full spectrum of commercial duties across assigned projects, from procurement and contract administration through to final account. Operating within a professional client-side environment, you will ensure adherence to NEC forms of contract, provide accurate cost reporting, and contribute to strategic decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
* Administer and manage NEC contracts, ensuring full compliance and effective cost control.
* Prepare and manage budgets, valuations, variations, and final accounts.
* Lead commercial reporting and forecasting activities.
* Provide expert cost advice and value engineering input to project teams.
* Liaise with contractors, consultants, and clients to ensure projects are delivered to the highest standards.
* Support procurement and tendering processes.
* Ensure all commercial activities are conducted in accordance with company policies and professional standards.
Candidate Profile
* Proven experience as a Project Quantity Surveyor, ideally within the Design & Build, roofing, cladding, or wider construction sectors.
* Demonstrable experience of NEC contracts is essential.
* RICS qualification (or working towards) is desirable.
* Excellent analytical, commercial, and communication skills.
* Professional and collaborative approach, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
