Project Quantity Surveyor – Off-Site Modular Construction – Ireland/ Kilkenny €70,000 + Car + Benefits | 1 day per week in the office | Hybrid / Work from Home
We’re working with a market-leading off-site modular construction specialist delivering turnkey cleanroom modules, data centre pods, and advanced utility plantrooms for blue-chip clients across Ireland and Europe.
This company is one of the fastest-growing names in modular manufacturing, combining cutting-edge design, engineering precision, and innovation to deliver complex, high-value projects safely and efficiently. Due to sustained growth, they are now seeking an experienced Project Quantity Surveyor to join their team and play a key commercial role across multiple nationwide projects.
You’ll be joining a highly experienced project delivery team, taking ownership of commercial management, cost control, and tendering for modular construction packages. This is a flexible hybrid position – one day per week in the office, with the remainder spent working from home or traveling to client sites nationwide.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage all commercial aspects of modular construction projects from tender through to final account.
* Prepare accurate and timely tenders, cost plans, and bills of quantities.
* Source, evaluate, and negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure value and compliance.
* Analyse project information to identify ambiguity, risk, and opportunity.
* Maintain and develop internal systems and procedures for pricing and estimating.
* Collaborate with project managers, design engineers, and clients to deliver high-quality outcomes.
* Track project costs, variations, and progress to maintain profitability and mitigate risk.
Requirements
* 5+ years’ experience in a Quantity Surveying or Estimating role within a contracting or specialist modular/manufacturing environment.
* Relevant third-level qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or similar.
* Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.
* Proficiency in MS Office (Excel) and QS/estimating software.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
* Willingness to travel nationwide as required.
