Job Description
We are recruiting for a fanstatic permanent opportunity for a Project Surveyor (Building Safety) to join our client, a leading housing assocation based in Maidstone, Kent.
Offering a starting salary of £53,523 per annum + generous benefits, career progression & flexible working.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Lead the contract administration and project management of fire/building safety works.
Provide expert technical solutions on safety and maintenance issues.
Ensure robust contractor management and performance tracking through KPIs.
Work cross-functionally with Repairs & Maintenance and Building Safety colleagues.
Proactively engage with residents to ensure excellent customer communication and service delivery.
Assist in procurement and specification development of safety-related projects.
Respond to property-related issues, including HHSRS hazards and leaseholder consultations.
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and internal procedures, including CDM 2015.What We’re Looking For:
HND or equivalent in Building Surveying, Project Management, or a related field.
Experience managing fire/building safety projects in a housing environment.
Strong knowledge of building regulations, contract law, and health and safety legislation.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Analytical with strong IT and reporting capabilities.
Professional certifications (e.g. AssocRICS, MRICS, MCIOB, APM) are desirable.
A valid UK driving licence and flexibility to travel to various sites.Why Join?
