Location: Maidenhead (Hybrid working with UK travel) - ideally based in the Thames Valley / M4 corridor
Hours: Full-time / Permanent (flexible working hours)

We are seeking a Projects & Surveying Manager (ANPR & CCTV) to lead surveying and project delivery across nationwide smart infrastructure and technology installations. This role combines technical site surveying, project management, and leadership, ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standards of quality, safety, and client satisfaction.
Projects & Surveying Manager (ANPR & CCTV) Role:
As the Projects & Surveying Manager (ANPR & CCTV), you will oversee the journey from site assessment through to implementation, shaping how projects are scoped, surveyed, and delivered. You'll manage and support a team of surveyors and project managers, ensuring projects run smoothly, meet compliance requirements, and are completed on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
Liaise with clients, engineers, installation teams, and the commercial team to capture project requirements.
Work closely with project managers and field engineers to ensure aligned delivery.
Represent the company professionally on site, building trust and understanding.
Oversee user training and adoption of new solutions, addressing challenges during implementation.
Collaborate across departments (Commercial, IT, Finance, Account Management) to optimise operations.
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, partners, and clients.
Lead and manage a team of project managers and surveyors, ensuring efficient execution across all phases (initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, closure).
Conduct technical surveys for new ANPR and CCTV site installations and upgrades.
Prepare and submit clear solution documents based on survey findings.
Maintain excellent communication with clients during survey and implementation stages.
Provide technical and installation guidance to the project team.
Improve processes within the surveying and implementation lifecycle.
Ensure compliance with health & safety protocols and training requirements.

What We're Looking For:
Essential:
3+ years' experience surveying and/or installing ANPR, CCTV, or smart infrastructure systems
Strong technical understanding across civils, electrical, and smart technology projects.
Proven team leadership experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, both technical and client-facing.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
Full UK driving licence with flexibility to travel nationwide (including overnight stays).
Clear DBS check (as part of pre-employment screening).
Desirable:
Project management qualifications (e.g. PRINCE2, APM).
Experience delivering multi-site projects across the UK.
Track record of process improvement within project delivery and surveying functions.
