Location: Tuxford, Nottinghamshire
Salary: Between £28,000 - £32,000 depending upon experience.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Working hours: 08:30 – 16:30 Monday- Friday.
Tramps Prop Hire are the UK’s largest American Prop House supplying a variety of props to the Film and TV sector. We work with the largest Motion Picture Production companies to supply them original American props to help create their movies.
We are currently looking for individual to come on board and manage the day-to-day operations of our busy prop store / warehouse. Fancy joining a small but dedicated team where your work really makes a difference?
This challenging but interesting role will include some of but not limited to the following tasks:
* Handling all orders including gathering props from the multiple warehouses, wrapping and packing fragile items, checking all items conditions and ensuring they are suitable for hire.
* Handling all returned orders including checking for damage, booking them back in on the system and putting them all back in the correct place.
* Using the in-house rental system to manage bookings.
* Loading and unloading vans.
* Helping with organising the warehouse to create space, present props and keep the place tidy. This includes moving heavy items around the warehouse by hand. Clearing shelves and filling shelves. Also includes working outside in the yard and maintaining the yard.
* Repairing and maintaining props to keep them in good working order.
* Taking care of online sales orders, wrapping and packing of items to be shipped out, booking them out via courier service and dealing with customer enquiries online.
Skills required:
* Outstanding organisational skills is a must.
* Willing to work inside and outside throughout the year.
* Confident with the use of computers and learning new system.
* Full UK Driving license is a must.
* Attention to detail is critical.
* Ability to work under pressure throughout busy times. In this last-minute industry, it’s critical you can work under pressure to get the job done at a moment's notice.
* Willing to take on an active labour-intensive job involving lifting, carrying and being on your feet all day. This is not a desk job managing people.
* Practical DIY Skills and confident with hand and power tools.
* Forklift license is preferred as use of forklift on a daily basis is needed. Training course will be provided for anyone not holding license. But must be confident to take on that responsibility.
