Property Compliance & Support Solicitor Cheshire Salary £38,000 - £42,000 Are you a qualified Solicitor with a passion for compliance, risk management, and guiding teams through complex legal challenges? If you enjoy helping others stay on the right side of regulation while ensuring the highest level of client care, this could be the next step in your legal career. A highly respected legal services provider is seeking a solutions-driven, proactive Compliance & Risk Support Solicitor to join their Real Estate department. You’ll support residential property fee earners with technical queries, high-risk cases, and regulatory compliance—especially around AML and post-completions processes. This is a unique, behind-the-scenes opportunity where your knowledge and influence will be vital to maintaining standards, managing risk, and ensuring smooth case progress across the board. Key Responsibilities: Provide hands-on guidance on high-risk residential property files Offer technical advice to fee earners and support effective supervision Assist with detailed file reviews, identifying and reducing risk Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure consistent application of compliance procedures across the department Collaborate with leadership to refine workflows and reduce regulatory exposure Escalate serious issues appropriately while maintaining a problem-solving approach AML Support: Advise on Anti-Money Laundering regulations and firm policy interpretation Help evolve AML procedures for ease of compliance and operational efficiency Post-Completions Guidance: Assist teams with Land Registry queries and requisitions Monitor key dates and workflows to prevent delays and mitigate risk About you: Ideally a Qualified Solicitor with Real Estate/Property Law experience Strong understanding of compliance frameworks, especially AML Confident in managing complex legal and regulatory issues Excellent communication, attention to detail, and project management skills Proactive, collaborative, and able to work under pressure This role would suit a qualified Solicitor who wants to move away from fee earning and into a compliance/risk support role.
